Who is Mentors' Lab?

Mentors' Lab is a brand of Tell NP Advisers, an outplacement company based in Geneva, Switzerland. It was launched in January 2018. Mentors' Lab complies with the Data Protection Act, Chapter 440 of the Laws of Malta, ('Applicable Law'), which transposes all the relevant European Union directives relating to data protection.

How does Mentors' Lab work?

Mentors' Lab is a service that allows start-ups to showcase their companies, and to any other users of the website to propose their skills / expertise for free to these start-ups. We allow these start-ups to be found and contacted by potential mentors (people willing to offer their expertise for free) through the website.

When a start-up creates its showcase page, it can subscribe to different subscription plans (that they have to pay for depending on the number of services they are looking for). All the criteria entered by the start-up when introducing its business can be used to be searchable on the website. A start-up can monitor mentors' applications directly through its Administration Page.

A Mentor is a user who is either in a job or looking for a job. He can share his expertise with a start-up for free, and in exchange, the start-up allows the Mentor to showcase the experience gained on a resume or on professional social networks. A mentor can offer 4/5 hours of his(her) time per week, or more if he/she is willing to, for a period of time that is discussed at the start of the discussion with the start-up. The only obligation a mentor has, is to warn the start-up he/she was helping as soon as possible when he/she can't help the start-up any more. A Start-up can rate the Mentor's work on the website, and the Mentor can rate the Start-up on the website as well.
